Techbros Engages in High-Level Strategic Meetings with Telkomsel, PSSI, KOMDIGI, and Smartfren
Forging Global Partnerships: A Visit from ITPC Hamburg

JAKARTA – In a packed day of high-impact engagements on 05 May 2025, Techbros team conducted a series of strategic meetings with key stakeholders across Indonesia’s telecommunications and digital sectors. These include discusssions with Telkomsel, the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI), the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (KOMDIGI), and Smartfren.

These discussions explored innovative uses of AI, network intelligence, and private connectivity across diverse sectors from sports to heavy industry.

Call Detail Record Benchmarking – Discussion at Telkomsel Smart Office

The day began with a comprehensive presentation at the Telkomsel Smart Office, where the Techbros team met with Telkomsel network team. The focus was on three critical areas:

  • Network Optimization Benchmarking
  • OTT Media Infrastructure
  • Fake BTS & Interference Hunting

As part of the presentation, Techbros introduced an ongoing national benchmarking project designed to evaluate the performance of mobile network providers across Indonesia. The initiative includes end-to-end testing for telephony, video streaming, data throughput, and interactive services such as web browsing, social media, and messaging.

The benchmarking will be conducted in key geographic areas and incorporate both regulatory KPIs and broader performance metrics, all summarized into a comprehensive performance score for each operator.

One of the key highlights was the enthusiastic response from Telkomsel regarding Call Detail Record (CDR) Benchmarking, a method that leverages historical call data to analyze and enhance network performance. Telkomsel expressed strong interest in continuing the conversation, viewing CDR-based benchmarking as a strategic asset for data-driven network optimization.

Innovating Football with AI – Meeting with PSSI Executive Arya Sinulingga

Next, Techbros team visited the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) for a focused session with Executive Committee of PSSI, Arya Sinulingga. The dialogue revolved around AI-driven innovations in football, including:

  • Real-time player performance statistics through R&D
  • Automatic offside detection, aiming to surpass current VAR systems
  • AI-assisted coaching analytics during live matches using camera tech
  • Player tracking and talent scouting based on biometric and movement data

The discussion also covered Private 4G/5G Networks tailored for football stadiums, addressing latency-sensitive applications and enhanced security controls, especially for mission-critical use cases like “breakball” scenarios.

To support these innovations, Techbros proposed conducting direct testing and network measurements at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, as well as joint trial with PSSI Sumut and local broadcasters during live matches. The aim is to validate the impact of private network infrastructure in real match conditions, particularly where low latency and reliability are critical.

EMF Validation & Digital Benchmarking with KOMDIGI at Menara Danareksa

The third stop brought Techbros to Menara Danareksa, where they met with Director of Digital Infrastructure Acceleration, Mulyadi, and the KOMDIGI team. The primary focus was Electromagnetic Field (EMF) compliance and simulation using two proprietary tools:

  • PreHCM – for pre-deployment EMF modeling
  • Field FX – for on-site EMF validation, with results recognized by national regulators

The conversation extended to potential collaboration in public benchmarking, EMF education, and Fake BTS awareness campaigns. Techbros invited KOMDIGI to explore joint initiatives in these areas—opening the door to deeper industry-wide impact.

AIoT for Mining – Meeting with Smartfren Enterprise Leadership

Closing the day, Techbros sat down with Chief of Enterprise Business Smartfren, Tony Wijaya. This meeting centered on collaborative opportunities in AIoT solutions, especially in the coal mining sector. Two key themes emerged:

  • Development of AIoT-powered services tailored for industrial operations
  • Potential deployment of Private Networks (Core & BTS infrastructure) in mining zones to support robust, secure, and low-latency communication systems

The conversation highlighted the alignment between Techbros’ capabilities and Smartfren’s vision for digital transformation in Indonesia’s industrial heartlands.

Techbros' multi-sector engagement showcased a bold, tech-forward vision grounded in collaboration and data. Whether in telecommunications, sports, or heavy industries, the team demonstrated that innovation happens when the right ideas meet the right people—at the right time.

With momentum building from these strategic meetings, Techbros is poised to move from exploration to execution, leading partnerships that merge AI, infrastructure, and insight into a smarter future.
