Techbros Attends 6GEM General Assembly at TU Dortmund University
Forging Global Partnerships: A Visit from ITPC Hamburg

DORTMUND – Techbros had the opportunity to attend the 6GEM General Assembly, held from June 17–18, 2025, at the LogistikCampus of TU Dortmund University. Representing Techbros at the event was Muhammad Haidar, Technical Manager, who joined industry and academic leaders to explore the future of mobile communications technology.

The 6GEM General Assembly brought together prominent German research institutes and universities, offering a unique platform to present groundbreaking research through academic papers, posters, and live hardware prototype demonstrations.

As part of the 6GEM Research Hub, the assembly focuses on forward-looking research, development, and validation of 6G technologies. It is emphasizing efficiency, security, resilience, and open standards. The initiative plays a crucial role in enhancing Europe’s technological sovereignty in next-generation mobile communications.

The opportunity to learn and witnessing cutting-edge advancements in 6G development are something that fascinates Haidar.

“From real-world use cases like autonomous warehouse robots and teleoperation systems where controllers and vehicles are separated by over 100 kilometers, to innovations in encoding techniques and communication protocols, the breadth of research here is impressive.”

Techbros sees great potential for future contributions to the 6G ecosystem, particularly as a partner of the Department of Logistics at TU Dortmund University. We are also actively pursuing collaborative grant applications with Fraunhofer Dortmund to develop practical 6G use cases, the team looks forward to further engagement in the 6G research space.
